Two players, one device: Court Clash and Bunker Duel
How local 2P actually works on Pokii Games — tennis on a shared keyboard and hotseat artillery — without accounts or a matchmaking screen.
There is no lobby. That is the feature.
Most “multiplayer” game sites send you to a username wall. Pokii Games does not have accounts, so versus modes are physical: someone else can reach the same keyboard, or you pass the device after a shot. Two titles currently do this well. When more ship, they will land in the same genre notes — we do not advertise a multiplayer shelf that is empty.
Court Clash — split the court, not the account
Choose 2P on the title. Left court is Player 1 (W key, or tap that half). Right court is Player 2 (Up arrow, or tap that half). First to three points. The ball is physics, not a canned animation, so both of you will mistime the first rally. That is normal.
Sit so each person owns one half of the laptop. On a phone, 2P tap is possible but elbows collide; a tablet on a table is the compromise. Call “mine” if you share one screen and both panic-jump.
1P versus AI is for learning the jump-swing alone. Do not judge the game by a 2P session where both players mash the same key.
Bunker Duel — hotseat, wind, and 25 weapons
Turns alternate. Angle, charge power, pick a shell, watch the crater. Then hand the device over. Wind on the arrow is not decoration; copying last turn’s power into a new breeze is how you miss a sitting tank.
Do not open with the nuke. You will delete the cover the next player (or you) wanted. Ordinary shells for open sightlines, bounce and homing when a wall of dirt is in the way. Fire bombs are for denying a hole, not for highlight clips.
Vs AI is a valid way to learn weapons. Hotseat is the joke that lands with a friend: you both stare at the same hill you just ruined.
What is not local multiplayer (yet)
Coil Arena looks like an IO snake but it is a score chase in a shared-looking arena, not a second human on your couch. Undead Siege is you versus waves. If you want “we are both here,” it is Clash or Duel until the catalog grows.
