Grid Getaway
Clear the jam. Cars only roll forward in the direction they face. Deadlocks are information.

About Grid Getaway
Grid Getaway is a brain-teasing traffic puzzle — clear the jam by moving cars in the right order without causing chaos.
Tap a car to send it forward along its lane. If the path is clear it rolls out; if something blocks it, pick a different car first. Glass barriers, boosters, and a car shop unlock as you climb levels.
Each stage packs tighter spaces and more vehicles. Think ahead, avoid deadlocks, and free the road.
Grid Getaway is a traffic-jam logic puzzle. Cars only roll forward in the direction they face. If something blocks the lane, you needed a different car first.
Later levels add glass barriers, boosters, and a shop. The core remains: think about order, then tap. Deadlocks are information, not bad luck.
What you do in Grid Getaway
Objective. Clear the jam. Cars only roll forward in the direction they face. Deadlocks are information.
Tap a car to send it forward. If the lane is blocked, another car has to leave first. Later levels add glass, boosters, and a shop.
Boosters are for a genuine stuck board, not the first five seconds. Shop unlocks stay in this browser.
How to play Grid Getaway
Tap a car to send it forward. A clear path lets it exit. A blocked path means you pick another vehicle that opens the lane.
Boosters are for genuine stuck boards, not for skipping the first ten seconds of thinking. The shop is cosmetic and helper unlocks — the puzzle is still the grid.
Each stage packs more vehicles into the same idea. Look for the car whose nose points at open asphalt; that is usually the first legal move, not always the first useful one.
Controls
Tap / click a car to drive it forward in the direction it faces. Clear every car to finish the level. Use boosters if you get stuck.
Click cars. Same forward-only rule.
On a phone or tablet: Tap cars. Portrait lots.
What makes Grid Getaway different
- Forward-only traffic, not free sliding
- Glass barriers change which lanes are real
- Think two cars ahead — the one you want may wait on a 'useless' one
Tips
- Work backward from the exit. Which car is actually stopping the one you want to free?
- Do not tap every car “to see.” Forward-only movement can bury a key vehicle behind one you just launched.
- Glass barriers change which lanes are real. Read them before you commit a long slide.
- If you deadlock, restart and try freeing the opposite side of the lot first.
Strategy
- Think two cars ahead. The car you want may wait on a ‘useless’ one leaving first.
- Boosters are for a genuine stuck board, not the opening five seconds.
- Glass barriers change which lanes are real. A path that worked last level may be blocked.

FAQ
How do cars move in Grid Getaway?
Tap a car to drive it forward in the direction it faces. It leaves the grid if the path is clear; otherwise choose another car.
What are boosters for?
They help when a level is jammed. Use them after you have tried the obvious order — they are a safety valve, not the main mechanic.
