Pet Merge

Pet Merge is a portrait pet-match arcade — you control one pet at the top, tap a column, and clear the row when that pet matches the one sitting on top of the stack.

Five pets fill each rising line: dog, blue fox, lion, monkey, and cat. After five clears your pet changes. Fast clears flash Superb, Nice, and Fire.

A red line sits near the top. If your pet is pushed above it, the run ends. Top score saves in your browser.

How to play Pet Merge

Load to the yellow PET MATCH title. Tap PLAY. A help card says Tap on same pet, Match same pet in row line, and Watch out red line in top. Tap the card to start.

Your pet drops onto the middle column. Five columns of pets rise from below. Tap a column so your pet slides there. When it matches the pet on top of that column, the top row pops and you drop down one line. That is one point.

Every five clears your pet changes species. If the stack pushes you above the red line, Game Over shows Points, Top Score, Home, and Restart. Top score saves in the browser.

Controls

Controls for Pet Merge: Tap PLAY on the title. Tap the help card to start. Tap a column to move your pet. Match the top pet of that column to clear the row. Sound mutes from the speaker. The X asks to exit. Restart is on Game Over.

Desktop usually means mouse. Phones and tablets use the same tap on a column so Pet Merge stays playable on the couch.

Tips

Look at the top of every column before you tap. Only the pet sitting on top of a column can match.
If no column matches, pick the slowest rising side and wait. A wrong slide still spends the climb.
After five clears your pet changes. The new one is never the same as the current top of your column.
When your pet sits high, near the red line, take any match you can. Height ends the run, not a low score.
